Mission & Beliefs
What We Believe
We believe Jesus meant what He said when He told us to go and make disciples.
That is not just something we talk about—it is something we are learning to live out together, day by day.
We believe faith is meant to be real, not complicated. We open Scripture, we pray, we worship, and we strive to actually know one another.
What We’re About
We are not just trying to “go to church.”
We are learning what it means to be the church in everyday life.
That means following Jesus not only on Sunday mornings, but in the places we live, work, and spend our time.
We gather for worship, but we also make space for smaller conversations, shared meals, prayer, and walking alongside one another through real life.
That is what discipleship looks like here: not perfect people, but people walking forward together.
Who This Is For
Some of us have been in church all our lives.
Some are just beginning to ask questions.
Either way—you are welcome here.

Our Outreach
We believe church does not stop at the door.
Instead of waiting for people to come to us, we go where life is already happening—around tables, in conversations, and in everyday moments.
That is why we gather in places like breweries, rodeo grounds, and restaurants—where people already feel comfortable walking in, sitting down, and having a real conversation.
We invite people into real connection, not just a service.
Outreach for us is simple: building relationships, listening well, and living out the love of Christ in a way that feels natural and honest.
Some people are not ready to walk into a church building—and that is all right. We meet them where they are, trusting that God is already at work in their lives.
We are not trying to fill seats. We are here to build a faith-filled community with Christ at the center.
Our Origins
Tejas Missional Communities grew out of a desire to return to something simple.
From the beginning, followers of Jesus met in homes, shared meals, prayed together, and invited others into a life of faith that was lived out daily—not just on Sundays.
Over time, much of that simplicity was replaced with structure and routine. There is nothing wrong with gathering, but something important was often left behind.
What you see here is a step back toward those earlier roots.
Not a new idea—just an older one, lived out again with intention.
