Welcome to Back Room Notes

Well, here we are.

Back Room Notes is simply a place to share a few thoughts from the week, reflections from Sunday's gathering, updates about what's happening at Tejas, and occasionally a story or two from life.

Every Sunday we gather in the Back Room of The Refuge in New Braunfels. We spend time in Scripture, prayer, worship, conversation, and community. Some weeks are thoughtful. Some are joyful. Some leave us with more questions than answers. That's part of life.

This week we launched something new: Tejas Sunday Gathering, a podcast where you can listen to recent Sunday messages anytime. You can find those messages on the website under Sunday Messages from the Back Room. The podcast is also beginning to appear on popular podcast platforms, making it easier to listen wherever you are and on your favorite platform.

My hope for these notes is simple. If something from a Sunday message sticks with me, I'll write about it. If something happens during the week that's worth sharing, I'll write about that too. Some posts may be serious. Some may be lighthearted. Most will probably be a little of both.
